Did you know? Roger Carter started his drum corps career with the Kingsmen and then the Velvet Knights. He spent his last 4 years as a member of the Blue Devils, becoming the center snare and section leader. He then spent six years as a staff member with the Blue Devils, then taught with Crossmen, Madison Scouts, and Bluecoats in 2012 as a snare tech before becoming the percussion caption head in 2013.

Let's go, first show done

It is a combination of a lot of things.. the quality and loyalty of your staff, the quality of the members and their health, your practice focus, the number of shows you do, etc. You basically have to try your best with different combinations to get the highest scores you.. and even then there will always be a +/- variance just like in real life.

I can’t tell you what the best settings are because even in my simulations i wouldn’t always wind although i can tell you some things that seemed to help - although I won’t because trying to figure it out is part of the game!

I may even add judges down the line where they might have some bias towards certain corps or might favor a certain section or caption over another!

My biggest tip is to budget and use your money wisely! Dont spend all your money on great staff because you’ll need money for members, shows, and fundraising!
