Did you know? Scott Chandler of the Blue Devils had been the guard instructor/designer for a WGI Independent or Scholastic World Champion guard for twenty two consecutive years. During that streak he taught the Skylarks of Fairfield, CT (82-84), State Street Review of Madison, WI (84-89), San Jose Raiders of San Jose, CA (90-94), and The Blue Devils (95-98). Of those 22 shows, 8 of his groups have the top 25 highest scoring WGI shows of all time, including #1 on the list with a 99.55 from the 1996 Blue Devils. During his 4 years teaching the Blue Devils winterguard, they had never lost a show.
