Did you know? The Blue Stars placed 2nd at the first DCI championship in 1972. In 1983, they ceased operations and did not return to finals again until 2008. During that time they won Open Class(Div 2/3) finals multiple times.

DCI Individual & Ensemble Competition

The DCI Individual & Ensemble (I&E) Competition is a prestigious event that showcases the exceptional talent of individual performers from drum corps across the country. This competition provides members with the opportunity to demonstrate their skills in solo performances across various categories.

I&E competitions celebrate the artistry and technical excellence of individual performers, highlighting the dedication and hard work that goes into perfecting each performance. Whether you're a soloist or part of a small ensemble, I&E offers a unique platform to showcase your musical and visual talents.

Prize money is awarded per category, so there are multiple opportunities to win across different sections. Winners also receive a loyalty boost, making them more likely to stay with your corps.
