Black Gold Finale

Bio: Black Gold Finale is the All-Age Class corps of the Black Gold organization, created for performers who have aged out of World Class but are not ready for their drum corps journey to end. Serving members ages 21–65, Black Gold Finale provides a competitive, flexible, and community-driven performance opportunity for alumni, working adults, educators, and lifelong performers who still want to experience the energy of drum corps.

Operating on an optimized tour schedule, Black Gold Finale is designed to balance high-level performance with real-life responsibilities. The corps gives members the opportunity to continue growing as musicians, performers, and leaders while remaining connected to the Black Gold family. It also serves as a natural next step for those aging out of World Class Black Gold who want to keep performing under the same organizational identity.

Rooted in the same Kentucky pride, grit, and “black gold” spirit as the World Class corps, Black Gold Finale represents experience, maturity, and legacy. Its members bring years of performance knowledge, leadership, and passion to the field, creating a corps that is both competitive and deeply meaningful.

Black Gold Finale is more than an extension of the organization. It is the closing chapter that never truly closes; a place where former members, adult performers, and drum corps veterans can return to the field, share their experience, and prove that the passion for performance has no age limit.
