Bio: Founded in 2026, The Edward Royal is the creative engine for a lifelong passion for the marching arts. Our story began in the stands of the Bands of America St. Louis Regional (not a super regional in 2003), where a young fan discovered a passion that would shape his life. Starting with watching his sister compete and eventually marching with the remarkable Pride of Broken Arrow. The Edward Royal's journey is also connected to the Micro Marching League, which I joined in 2011. This experience fueled my creativity and ambition to design shows.
Drawing inspiration from the theatricality of groups like Broken Arrow, LD Bell, William Mason, Phantom Regiment, and Carolina Crown, as well as the emotional depth of their memorable productions, The Edward Royal focuses on themes and staging. Our mission is to create meaningful experiences through music, movement, and storytelling. We believe that every production should take audiences on a journey, one that challenges, inspires, and leaves a lasting impact long after the performance ends. Through innovative design, emotional connection, strong staging, and a commitment to excellence, we strive to create performances that resonate with both audiences and performers alike.

The Emperor's Waltz
Set within the splendor of Imperial Vienna, The Emperor's Waltz explores the beauty, ceremony, and humanity behind one of history's most iconic courts. Inspired by Johann Strauss II's Kaiser-Walzer, Netflix's The Empress, and the enduring story of Emperor Franz Joseph and Empress Elisabeth, the production follows a journey through power, love, sacrifice, and legacy.
From glittering palace ballrooms to intimate moments hidden beneath the weight of empire, the production celebrates not only the grandeur of the Habsburg monarchy, but the people who lived within it. Elegant choreography, sweeping brass, and rich visual staging transform the field into a royal court where history dances to the music of an empire.
